Waterfalls in the South Brecons is a unique book that works on two levels, first as a picture book showing the many waterfalls in an area known as 'Waterfall Country' in South Wales, and second, as a walker's guide, with simplified maps, detailed route descriptions and grid references for every fall included. Waterfalls are amazingly elusive; the forest covered valleys give no hint to the jewels that lie beneath, and writers in the past have often noted their frustration in not finding certain falls or a path down to them.
